Join the IPMA for this year’s 2-day “Accessibility Matters” hybrid conference on October 21-22, 2025. You can attend both days virtually, or attend day 1 in person, and day 2 virtually. NOTE: The virtual link will be sent out the day before the conference.

This will be a comprehensive event designed to provide participants with the knowledge and tools to conduct effective accessibility assessments, develop actionable accessibility plans, and create a more inclusive digital environment. Attendees will explore why accessibility is not only a legal obligation but also a crucial component of equity and public service excellence.

Sessions will help public sector agencies understand and meet their responsibilities under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)—which requires that all programs, services, and activities provided by state and local governments be accessible to individuals with disabilities.

We will cover practical strategies for improving accessibility in websites, digital tools, and public meetings, and provide guidance on fostering an inclusive workplace culture that centers on accessibility and universal design principles.
