Join the IPMA for our annual Accessibility Matters conference on November 17th and 18th, 2026.

This comprehensive event is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and tools to conduct effective accessibility assessments, develop actionable accessibility plans, and create a more inclusive digital environment. Attendees will explore why Accessibility is not only a legal obligation but also a crucial component of equity and public service excellence.

Whether you’re new to accessibility or working to strengthen existing practices, Accessibility Matters will help your organization ensure compliance with federal requirements, enhance service delivery, and advance digital equity for all community members.

This event is free. Registration is open to State and Local Government employees, Educational Employees, and IPMA Sponsor organizations.

Day 1 (November 17th) will be hybrid — you can attend in person or virtually. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided for in person attendees.

Day 2 (November 18th) will be virtual only.

The agenda is coming soon.

This year, on Day 1 we will also have an ‘Exhibit Hall’ set up in the Pavilion. This will be open to anyone from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. During this time you will be able to visit and interact with representatives from:

The Accessibility Developers Community of Practice, Department of Services for the Blind, the Washington Talking Book & Braille Library, Anthro-Tech, PeopleTech, Design Laboratories, and more!

Note: Zoom links will be sent the day before the event.
